probability that the world needs more awesome dads: 99.99%

probability that the world needs protection from alien overlords 0.00000000000000000000001%

    Mitchell wins.

Levinson only thought of the computer virus idea because of his father, otherwise he would have kept drinking himself into a coma and the aliens would have taken over. Mitchell is a devoted father, successful attorney, and a shining example of how to succeed despite society’s prejudices and narrow perception of family values.

  4. Not only is Independence Day way more awesome than Modern Family, but David Levinson also saved the world.

    Levinson is the winner.

Though I am a big fan of Mitchell, he’s more or less been thrown under the bus. I mean, Levinson helped save the world in a true ‘nerds will be the masters of the future’ style…plus he had the cajones to stand up, go against the grain, and be heard in a see of nay-saying suits and military generals. The world needs more smart people with hard facts/evidence advising our leaders…we don’t really need another lawyer.

Definitely Levinson. He’s got a cuter spouse, he whines marginally less, and he’s not a lawyer 😉

Scientist that saves world, devoted son, devoted husband, exudes confidence, and got away with punching the President in younger days (background) – versus – one-dimensional, neurotic, lawyer, selfish, angst-filled spouse and father, with daddy issues. Levinson (MIT) wins…

Hard to beat Levinson on this round, but MIT you should’ve saved this one for the finals. Ya biffed it big time.

I vote Mitchell – he makes us laugh every week, and showed great ingenuity using the placebo effect on his dad this week. Must have taken Psych 101 at Cornell…
